In more than three decades of karting, Ed Murray Racing has produced a number of prominent International, South African National and Regional Champions - Ed himself has earned a plethora of National Championship titles and has gained valuable experience from time spent competing in the World Championship series against the likes of Ayrton Senna.

 

Ed's racing career started in Stocks (100cc) in 1971 and by 1972 he was already Runner Up in the South African National Championship. Ed took the lessons learned in the super-competitive Stocks class, and applied them to 100cc Supers and 125's with great effect, winning no less than 8 National Championship titles! - For his achievements and dedication to karting, Ed was awarded Springbok Colours.

 

Realizing that he had something special to give back to South African karting, in the early 90's Ed turned to tuning and race preparation for other karters. Once again his skill and determination produced spectacular results... and an impressive list of Champions:
