Meritus Scouts South Africa’s Rotax Finals at Zwartkops

The International championship-winning Meritus Team Principal, Peter Thompson, confirms he will attend the South African Rotax finals on 6 and 7 October.

Meritus has entered into an agreement with South African World Champion Wesleigh Orr who will exclusively represent Meritus brand and interests in South Africa.

SOUTH AFRICA’S PREMIER KARTING CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE DECIDED ON OCTOBER 5-6, 2012, AT ZWARTKOPS, PRETORIA

sarmc logoThe fourth and final national round of the hard-fought South African Rotax Max Challenge SA karting championship will be played out at the Zwartkops International Kart Raceway this Friday and Saturday,  on October 5 and 6, 2012.
 
And when the tyre-smoke has settled, four South African Champions will book their seats to the 13th Rotax Grand Finals, the annual World Championship event for the most competitive karting championship on the planet, being held this year in the Algarve coast of Portugal.

UK Commentator Ken Walker to commentate at SARMC National

8904 ken walkerUK racing commentator Ken Walker will be commentating at the Rotax National Final on 6th October at Zwartkops. If you are competing please fill in the information sheet so that Ken knows who you are. Ken has commentated at every Rotax World Final as well as the Rotax Euro Challenge events since 2004.

You can hand the form into Gill Angove on Friday at documentation.

SALBRIS SET FOR THE CLASH FOR THE MAX TITLES AT THE ROTAX EURO CHALLENGE

Champions Trophy Euro4 SalbrisThe famous Sologne Karting circuit at Salbris in France is geared-up for this weekend’s fourth and final round of the 2012 ROTAX MAX EURO CHALLENGE as the battle for the European title in all four classes being contested goes down to the deciding edition of the series. This year, the championship has again visited Belgium and Germany, while Sweden made its debut onto the Euro program. For the very popular French venue, it’s the seventh time they’ve played host in the last eight years and the racing looks set to be yet another memorable finale, with all titles able to be won or lost by this Sunday.
