South Africa's Orr and Nevelling set the pace in Europe
winning most races in the ultra competitive four round ROTAX
EuroChallenge. South African RMC DD2 winner Leeroy Poulter
and Cape Towns Wiaan Swart joined these two at the ROTAX
World Finals in Portugal. Although all of these stars excelled
in the qualifying races the weather and lady luck prevented
South Africa from winning its 7th World Title in the 68
kart field.

The ROTAX DD2's with the added power, gears and four
wheel disc brakes provide the fastest lap times filling
the gap where 125 Grand Prix karts once provided the top
spectacle. ROTAX DD2's and the sealed motor formula provides
top performance at an affordable price. Rumor has it that
in 2007 faster tires will be used adding to the excitement
and certainly new lap records will be the order of the
day at every circuit.
