Eight SA karters head for ROTAX World Finals

Eight South African’s will represent Africa in
the eigth ROTAX Max Challenge Grand Finals taking place
at the awesome La Conca circuit in Italy on 27 to 30
November 2008.

Kevin De Witt and Matthew Hodges will contest in the
feircly competitive Senior Max class. All competitors
will race brand new Maranello karts.
Former Grand Final champion Cristiano Morgado and former
Grand Final runner up Leeroy Poulter qualified through
winning their respective classes at the ROTAX Euro Challenge.

Thanks to a superb season in the Rotax
DD2 class Ralph Odendaal will make his fourth appearance
at the ROTAX Grand Finals being one of the few people
to have competed in all three classes hosted at the Grand
Finals. George dos Ramos will once again represent South
Africa in the DD2 Masters class.
All competitors in the Junior Max class
will be aboard Zanardi chassis. Gauteng based Naomi Schiff
and Zimbabwian Axcil Jeffries should be front runners
in Junior Max.
