LIQUI MOLY 2 STROKE OIL INTRODUCED FOR
ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE SERIES IN SOUTH AFRICA
Following extensive testing throughout
2008, Liqui Moly Fully Synthetic 2 stroke Racing Oil has
been chosen as the oil of choice for South African Rotax
Max Challenge Series in 2009.
This is great news for all participants
– Liqui Moly is a world renowned brand for additives
and oils including sponsorship in the Le Mans series.
Not only will South Africa get top quality oil, the cost
of this oil is much lower than the previously used oil
for the SARMC series. Liqui Moly will be available at
a retail price of R 119.25 compared to Motul’s price
of R 178.15.
Testing started with the Ed Murray Racing
team in September 2008, including various Dynamometer
and track tests. The results showed that Liqui Moly works
extremely well with the ROTAX FR125 Max Engines –
especially in the South African summer climate. Kilowatt
output had a slight improvement and the wear on the moving
parts of the engine was vastly reduced, making the ROTAX
engines even more reliable than before.
